How Votejournalist Plumbing Works and Gets Paid

Last updated: October 2026

You should know exactly how Votejournalist Plumbing operates and how we earn money. This disclosure explains our role. It is a general template, not legal advice.

Our Role: Referrals Only

Votejournalist Plumbing is a referral and marketing service. We connect homeowners with independent plumbing providers. We do not do emergency plumbing, leak repair, drain cleaning, sewer line repair, water heater work or any other plumbing service.

When you call the number on this site or send a form, your call or request may go to an independent provider, or to a marketing partner that works with providers in your area.

How We Earn Money

Votejournalist Plumbing may be paid by providers or marketing partners for the calls, form submissions or other referrals we send them. Payment can depend on factors such as how long a call lasts or whether it is answered. We may be paid even if you never hire the provider.

This payment does not change what a provider charges you. You pay the provider directly for any work you agree to, at prices the provider sets.

Providers Stand on Their Own

Providers are independent businesses. They are not employees, agents or partners of Votejournalist Plumbing. Each is solely responsible for:

• Its estimates, pricing and terms
• The quality and timing of its work
• Its licenses, permits, insurance and certifications
• How it communicates and behaves toward you

Being connected with a provider is not an endorsement or a promise about their work. Because of how we are paid, the provider you reach may depend on which providers are in our network at that time.

The Decision Is Yours

You never have to hire a provider we connect you with. Ask questions, check credentials, request a written estimate and compare other quotes before you decide.

Recorded Calls

Calls made through this site may be tracked and, in some cases, recorded for quality, verification and billing purposes.
