Accessibility Statement
Last updated: October 2026
Votejournalist Plumbing wants everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to use votejournalist.garden. This statement sets out our approach. It is a general template, not legal advice.
Our Goal
We aim to make the site usable for as many people as we can. We work toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, a widely used standard for accessible websites.
Steps We Take
To support access, we aim to:
- Use clear headings and a logical page layout
- Give text alternatives for images that carry meaning
- Keep text readable with strong color contrast
- Allow full use with a keyboard
- Build pages that work on phones, tablets and computers
- Write in plain, simple language
- Label form fields clearly
Known Gaps
Some parts of the site may not yet fully meet these standards. Material from third parties, such as embedded tools or services, may be outside our control. We review the site from time to time and fix problems as we find them.
Getting Help Another Way
If part of the site is hard to use, help is still available. Request a callback to speak with a plumber, or email contact@votejournalist.garden and we will do our part to assist.
Send Us Feedback
We welcome comments on how accessible the site is. Email contact@votejournalist.garden and tell us:
- Which page or feature gave you trouble
- What happened, and what you expected
- The browser, device or assistive technology you used, if you know
We will read your message and aim to reply within a few business days.
Work That Continues
Accessibility is never finished. As we update the site, we will keep it in mind and keep improving.
Request a callback
Send a request through the form or email contact@votejournalist.garden. Tell us what is happening, and we will point you to a provider in our network.
